My name is Milena. I have been teaching English as a foreign language since 2004. My main interests include literature, music and films. What made me start a blog was my wish to create a space where I can share my knowledge, at the same time dealing with topics that reflect my own thoughts and interests.
Above all, my aim is to encourage reading for pleasure; to improve one's capacity for "perception of beauty in words and their right arrangement", as George Orwell put it.
